AA3 ban list now added to the RMBL, this like the AA2 ban list is a full list from each Anti-Cheat Organisation with the duplicate removed.
You can see more information using the menu item on the left ‘AA3 Anti Cheats Facts’ or download the ban list from the RMBL webpage.

Well its Christmas again another year has passed and RedSack is still here fending off those Cheaters.
I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year

I hope to have a crack at AA3 in 2010 and extend the site to cope with this version of AA, I did start some work on it just after it was released but due to the relentless version changes I stopped work on it and got in to other things, but will be back on the ball I hope and get it sorted once and for all.

RedSack will be incorporating CheatBusted ban list into the RMBL once I have scripted them back in, this all helps to keep our servers clean and the game as fair as possible, as a well known supermarket says 'Every little helps'

Well AA3 is almost here and I am sure as well as you this will take the FPG game play to the next level, I am at the moment unsure if RedSack will still be able to supply most of the features it does when the new version is released, but I will undertake to keep the site running and change any scripts necessary to read the new servers.

I have recently got back into this game myself and just can’t stop playing ES2 Boarder, it’s nice to work with others and all fight against the computer bots, however the unpredictability of real players can pose a great challenge on other maps and my predictable play style often leads me to an early demise and a chance to see some great game play from well experienced players, whom I am always learning from.

Anyway I have applied to AA for the download client for AA3 and if I do get accepted as a download agent I will post the link to the welcome page when they say GO.

Well things are coming back together on this new site, Graphical charts are back now, but the FORUM is being more difficult as this new SQL2008 thing does not seem to import tables and keep the structure intact, driving me nuts.

There is also a problem with the view last 20/100 screen shots will be looking at that soon.

Hi all, well back online.
It's taken sometime to cross over as the new website plan only allows me one database in MSSQL so have to re-assign all the forums databases and pull both both of them into one DB.

I think everything is all up and running now, but should you come across any bad links before I get to them please email me and I will fix them A.S.A.P

I do hope now to keep this site running for a long time as the running cost are cheaper than the last plan, I would like to thank all those who donated as this as helped pay for nearly the full year, thank you one and all.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of people sending emails of support and have amazingly received donations. I don't like asking for them so that's why the donation button has never been prevalent on the site, my fault maybe trying to keep this running from my own pocket, although I have managed to do it for a good few years now, and don't like Advertisements - I hate being subjected to adverts all over the place.

Anyway there is a rescue plan in place. A good friend of mine, in-fact the person responsible for getting me into this in the first place, also has a hosting plan with the same company - all be it on a reduced scheme to the one I have - he is going to pull it over and we will share the cost of the hosting. My only concern is the SQL is limited (Unless you pay more) to 2 gig. Ever since I started the Chat-Log auto parsing pages, and holding them for two weeks, Admins have been using this feature a lot and it takes up quite some space, plus all the other things I store away.
I also have an SQL server in the UK, but need the web server in the USA to have the chat log data close at hand to make sure the speed is there. Most of the data for the other things at RedSack come from the UK SQL.

I think it should be all ok, just have to change it all now, so the site may go down for a couple of days.

I was depressed when the conversion rate showed it was costing so much, and came to the conclusion that I could not afford it anymore, but with the amount of support being offered, it has shown me that it must stay up and running, I am only one person and did not think there were so many people devastated as much as me if it went down.

Please be patient, it will change in the next couple of days all links will stay the same.

Americas Army Deploy Client Setup

Yep it is here at last 2.8.4.0
Download it, install it and wait... and wait... and wait...

Don't be put of to much, in these early days there is so many people trying to connect it may crash

Let it run first time, and Windows will ask you if you want to unblock a port 'say yes' when it has finished and is sitting on the screen ready, shut it down.
Now restart it again and wait for it to check the empty Cache, then it will update itself to v1.2.3, just let it run.
when it has finished and is sitting on the screen, don't touch it, it will eventually ask you (about a minute later) if you want to patch to AA version 2.8.4, click yes and wait for it to download the patch.

When it has downloaded the patch, click the install button.
Note - It may crash, if this is the case don't panic just restart it and let it check it's cache and connect to a server, it will then popup a box and ask you if you want to patch to v2.8.4 'Say Yes', click the install button once again and 'WAIT'
It takes awhile to extract the patch file ready for running, eventually you will see a popup dialogue ask you if you would like to patch version 2.8.3.1 to v2.8.4, Click the button and watch it patch and your done.

Using this client deploy method is really the best option, perseverance is the key it will get better as time goes by and I would trust this more than downloading the patch from a site that may have repacked it with some other undesirable program.

Automatic Chat Log Reader

Do you keep a close eye on your chat log files?
If so then let RedSack take the tedious searching out of it for you, RedSack is now offering and automatic chat log reader, which will organise your chat log files on a daily basis.
Login to your Chat administration panel at RedSack and view yesterdays chatting, and catch the bad language players using a unique filter that you can define to enable bad language scores against players and there GUID’s.
You can also create a user name and password to facilitate anybody on your Clan site to view the chat log without access to the configuration panels, export the chat logs using a range of filters to Excel, Word, Text and CSV

See the worst language offenders listed in order of score, search for player or messages, team kills or Administrator messages only.
It’s all easy to do, including Force reading your chat log on the same day it is created rather than waiting for the automatic read after midnight.

Just create a free account in the RMBL section, enter your FTP information and configure the chat log setup to tell it where your chat logs are.

If not then you will need one, note you do note have to have the RMBL downloaded to your server to use this chatlog feature, the sign up is just easier because it already exists.

RedSack Master Ban List, more than just another all-in-one ban list.
You can download the list or lists but if you create an account you will receive an email each time the ban list is updated showing you what group added/removed bans, and server administrators can even have the ban list automatically transferred to their game servers via FTP when the player count is less than the number you request or at a specific time of day with notification when completed, check it out in the menu on the left.

OK, I have found out what appears to be happening here, and thanks for the file name that failed.

The file called ‘VentStat.exe’ that is part of the installed Game Tool is used to probe Ventrilo Servers and the program was written by ‘Luigi Auriemma’ it appears that ‘kaspersky anti-virus’ software is returning a false positive finding the authors name.

This file is safe and not virus infected, I’m glad this has been resolved as it has worried me considerably that I may have complied a virus with the software.
I am now opening the Download section again.

Thank you +W+ABermuda for highlighting this problem and your continued work in helping me find what the cause was.

I will leave it to each individual user to download, it is up to them but now I know it is not a Virus/Trojan, and I am happy again.

Still waiting to find out where he downloaded the file from, but please take note.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD the AAPDA from anywhere else other than Redsack, this is because the installer could have been infected, or even repacked with god knows what.

I guarantee the software is Virus, Spyware and Ad-ware free, but only if downloaded from this site.

Heads up, hi all hope you had a good Christmas break and wishing you all the best in this New Year.

I have been a bit quiet over the last couple of months working hard of a new project and that is now up to a suitable state for release, do you also play Battlefield 2142 in the gaps between AA?
Well if so RedSack now supports it, the front end of Redsack will be changing so to enable selecting your preferred game, I will still be supporting AA for as long as I can and am waiting for the next version of AA to be released, as the present one 2.8.2 has been causing some problems querying servers.

OK, All changed and working.
NOTE - Game tool users, since version 2.8.2.0 of AA they changed the query on servers and this is causing a few problems
I hope to get it sorted soon but you may not see all the players that are on the server, i.e. there are 26 players and you will only see 19 listed.

Scanning engine has been undergoing some modifications latterly to clear a couple of bugs, i.e. players showing on empty servers and a few other anomaly's.
So you may see a couple of restarts as the engine is recompiled after the mods have been made.

Well good news for all you Honor players out there, the services are beginning to come backup, sorry to all hackers and cheaters.
the main scanning engine will be started soon and all WebPages should then flow with data I hope.

It's been a hard one so sort-out and it's 2.35am here, it's just one of those long long days admins get once in a while.

MAJOR Problems on the SQL data server, part of the RAID has gone down.

This will effect all RedSack services

Unfortunately part of the Raid failed today it is being re-built and a complete restore has then to be made
This will stop all data services on RedSack WebPages and also the 'game tools' Master browser.

Sorry for any delays and interruptions to may be experiencing, but hopefully it will be all back up later tonight or
tomorrow at the latest.

Pre-Warning, The primary SQL server here in the UK will be offline as follows, this will effect the Game Tool and most of the web services RedSack supports.

'Essential works are to be carried out on the 08th September to implement an urgent router OS upgrade. This is on the recommendation of our supplier Juniper and as a result services will experience a 1/2hr outage during the given time window (02:00am - 0500am -BST)
Vital apologises for the short notification period provided and for any inconvenience which may be caused by these works. '

Redsack is not a clan site, it is for information only. In fact as many tools as I can think of I will put on this site in the menu on the left.
This site is hosted in the USA by Webhost4life.com, I on the other hand am in the UK.

Who am I, just another player that has got really involved with this game, its strategy or just Rambo running around the maps.

I have developed over the past year a number of tools for the game, mainly because I could not find anything like them out in the wider world.
The site is supported by a backend SQL server, then there is a web server in the UK with another backed SQL server supporting that, that one is supplying all the data for the information on the left menu.
And last but not least is the master scanning server also in the UK that polls all of the servers reading the Game play information.

If you don't know already visit AAO-Tracker, this is a fantastic site for information and the stats tracking they do is second to none, extremely powerful web site, if you browse a bit deeper into what they do.

Feel free to download any of the tools on this site, I guarantee they are Virus, Spy-ware and Ad-ware free provided you download them from here only, if you see them somewhere else they could have been repacked with god knows what.

If you really like using them, then a donation would be really appreciated to help towards the running costs of the site, even $5 helps.

Drop in to the forum and say Hi, I am always around to help out, as are a number of other users as well.
