	News 09.08.2011 Hi all, well it’s been a long time since posting on here. I thought I would just pop in to state what is happening to this site as I see a few users are still browsing. I am afraid all services for BF2142 are no longer running These features used to run on my utility server that did a whole bunch of things but this server is now dead. I have had a good time with BF2142 and meet some good friends. I now play Battlefield Bad Company 2 and my name is Born59 if you play would be great if you give me a shout on there or link in-game as friend. 	News 26.03.2009 This is a request to Server Administrators, are you using the RMBL ban list that is a compiled list of both PBB and PSB anti-cheat groups with duplicates removed? I ask because I see nobody has signed up for the email that tells them the list has been updated, and it has been running now for a couple of months, and takes a lot of processing power to generate. you can also have the ban list posted to your server via FTP automatically, at the end of the day you are paying for your servers so protect them and stop these cheat/hackers from destroying your game play. On another note you should also ask your server providers to open the screen shot port to enable anybody to see screen shots as a lot of hackers can be found through this method, and there are many players who would scan the screen shots for you to track down a hacker and have them banned. News 21.02.2009 Hi all, well back online. It's taken sometime to cross over as the new website plan only allows me one database in MSSQL so have to re-assign all the forums databases and pull both both of them into one DB. Greg - {ReAl}Sidewinder RedSack Admin News 14.02.2009 I am overwhelmed by the amount of people sending emails of support and have amazingly received donations. I don't like asking for them so that's why the donation button has never been prevalent on the site, my fault maybe trying to keep this running from my own pocket, although I have managed to do it for a good few years now, and don't like Advertisements - I hate being subjected to adverts all over the place. Anyway there is a rescue plan in place. A good friend of mine, in-fact the person responsible for getting me into this in the first place, also has a hosting plan with the same company - all be it on a reduced scheme to the one I have - he is going to pull it over and we will share the cost of the hosting. My only concern is the SQL is limited (Unless you pay more) to 2 gig. Ever since I started the Chat-Log auto parsing pages, and holding them for two weeks, Admins have been using this feature a lot and it takes up quite some space, plus all the other things I store away. I also have an SQL server in the UK, but need the web server in the USA to have the chat log data close at hand to make sure the speed is there. Most of the data for the other things at RedSack come from the UK SQL. I think it should be all ok, just have to change it all now, so the site may go down for a couple of days. I was depressed when the conversion rate showed it was costing so much, and came to the conclusion that I could not afford it anymore, but with the amount of support being offered, it has shown me that it must stay up and running, I am only one person and did not think there were so many people devastated as much as me if it went down. 	If you are into BattleField 2142 on-line gaming then this is the place for you. Redsack is not a clan site, it is for information only. In fact as many tools as I can think of I will put on this site in the menu on the left. This site is hosted in the USA by Webhost4life.com, I on the other hand am in the UK.
	Who am I, just another player that has got really involved with this game, its strategy or just Rambo running around the maps.

	I have developed over the past year a number of tools for verious other game servers, mainly because I could not find anything like them out in the wider world. The site is supported by a backend SQL server, then there is a web server in the UK with another backed SQL server supporting that, that one is supplying all the data for the information on the left menu. And last but not least is the master scanning server also in the UK that polls all of the servers reading the Game play information.


	Feel free to download any of the tools on this site, I guarantee they are Virus, Spy-ware and Ad-ware free provided you download them from here only, if you see them somewhere else they could have been repacked with god knows what. If you really like using them or the site, then a donation would be really appreciated to help towards the running costs of the site, even $5 helps.
